ACC Office of Student Life – Take Back The Night (closed event)

Menaka Chandurkar, AFSSA’s Manager of Community Education & Outreach Services, will be the keynote speaker at Austin Community College’s Take Back the Night (TBTN). TBTN is part of a worldwide movement, which allows students a safe space to take a stand against sexual assault and interpersonal violence by listening to survivor stories, sharing their experience if they choose, and seeking support from resources.  ACC’s Student Life, the Office of Equal Opportunity and Compliance, and the District Clinical Counseling team commemorates this national day of action by elevating the strong voices of those affected by these issues.

This year, the event will be in person at the Highland Campus with a vendor fair, activities, and a Keynote Address with a Speak Out Session. The  encourage the entire ACC community to attend and SHATTER THE SILENCE!
