It’s that time!! Spread the word far and wide to all you know in celebration of this community coming together once again IN PERSON for the 12th ANNUAL QUEERBOMB!!!

Dress it up, bring everything you can to represent yourselves in that procession down 6th Street (including instruments to bang and signs to hold high) and make Saturday June 4th as bright and loud and queer as it can be. ALL AGES. FREE. ALL YOURS. Show up, represent, and celebrate!

June 4th @ Native Hostel
6pm ~ Doors / nonprofit tables / photo booth / testing van / voter registration / music
7pm ~ Rally (all ages)
8:30 sharp! ~ Procession through downtown (all ages)
10pm until 2am ~ Dance celebration at Native Bar & Cafe (ages 18+)

THE QUEERBOMB MANIFESTO

QueerBomb is a family of LGBTQIA individuals gathering to support our unique and collective pride. Our purpose is to provide a space to celebrate each and every member of our community and encourage all to embrace the manifold ways we contribute to building a beautiful and diverse society. We look to the traditions of our queer radical past, embodied in the struggles of our ongoing fight for equal justice and the right to express ourselves in whatever way we see fit.

Each June, the month of Stonewall, we stand forth to embrace our sexuality, bodies, personalities, art, music, literature and politics. We are reclaiming the radical, carnal and transgressive lineage of our ever changing community to capture a meaning of pride that refuses to put rules on what you can and can’t be proud of. QueerBomb does not apologize, QueerBomb does not make excuses. QueerBomb stands proud, and so should you.

Llegó el momento!! Corre la voz a todo el mundo a todos los quien conoscas que en celebración de esta comunidad nos vamos a reúnir una vez más para QUEERBOMB.

Disfrazate, trae* todo lo que quieras para representarte en esta procesión sobre la Calle 6 (*incluyendo ruidosos instrumentos para golpear y señalización de protesta para mantener alto) y haremos el 4 de Junio brillante y fuerte!!. PARA TODAS EDADES. GRATIS. TODO TUYO. No faltes, ¡Ven a representar y a celebrar!

MANIFESTO QUEERBOMB

QueerBomb es una familia de individuales LGBTQIA que se reúnen para apoyar nuestro orgullo único y colectivo. Nuestro propósito es de proporcionar un espacio donde se celebra cada miembro de nuestra comunidad y animar a todos a reconocer las formas en cuales contribuimos a la construcion de una sociedad bella y diversa. Nos reapoderamos del linaje radical, carnal y transgresivo de nuestra comunidad, siempre cambiante, en nuestra lucha constante por la justicia y la igualdad de derecho a expresarnos de la manera que lo veamos conveniente.

Cada mes de Junio, el mes de Stonewall, nos contamos presentes manteniendo el orgullo de nuestra sexualidad, nuestros cuerpos, personalidades, arte, música, literatura y política. Mientras que recuperamos la energy del movimiento radical, carnal, y transgresiva que nuestra communidad exude, siempre en un estado de flux. Nos esforzamos por un orgullo que se niega a poner las reglas que uno puede o no puede estar , que dice que todas las expresiones, desde el espíritu a la carne, son dignas. QueerBomb no se disculpa. QueerBomb no hace excusas. QueerBomb tiene su propio orgullo y usted también debería de hacerlo.
