Events, Outreach, & Prevention Volunteering: AFSSA has a number of volunteer opportunities that include community education and outreach, event assistance and planning.
Direct Services Volunteering: We have opportunities on our 24/7 hotline and client programs. Our hotline serves people who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, dating violence, stalking and other forms of interpersonal violence. All direct service volunteers must complete mandated 40 hour training on domestic violence.
Pro Bono Professional Volunteering: If you’re interested in providing pro bono professional assistance to AFSSA such as legal representation or counseling services, please email volunteer@afssaustin.org for more information.
Administrative Volunteering: AFSSA has a limited number of volunteer opportunities that include administrative/office assistance, development, and research.
Other Opportunities: Are you an artist or graphic designer? Do you have html skills, public relations or marketing expertise? Other skills that you’re excited to share with us? We could use your help, too! Please email volunteer@afssaustin.org

Most volunteers are required to undergo a criminal background check. All volunteers are required to be at least 18 years old.
